Staffordshire – better prepared!

Introducing the ‘new look’ website of Staffordshire Prepared!

Like some of our other smaller websites, Staffordshire Prepared has undergone it’s own makeover over the last couple of months in order to make the information more straightforward and accessible.

The website is maintained by the Staffordshire Resilience Forum, a partnership of local agencies engaged in resilience and response. You will find information and advice to help you better prepare for and respond to disruptive events in the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent area.

In the past, Staffordshire Prepared has been home to a whole range of advice and important information about what to do in an emergency, whether that be weather related or terrorism. However, the new structure houses that information in a better, more organised way which has also allowed for the content to go through a huge edit and update.

One of the biggest advantages of this makeover is the new site is now responsive, allowing users to now view the information on the go.

Local news, tweets, flood warnings and links to traffic and weather alerts are all available on the homepage. Information can also be found on:

  • Adverse weather
  • Health
  • Industrial
  • Malicious attacks
  • How to prepare yourself
  • How to prepare your business
  • How to prepare your community
  • Involvement
